Although Doomsday was a little disappointing, I’d highly recommend Deponia (the trilogy) to anyone, especially point and click fans!ĩ. The Deponia Trilogy is one of my favourite games series of all time and I decided 2019 was the year to replay all three and finally get to Deponia Doomsday. Follow Rufus on his extremely optimistic and unpredictable journey as he attempts to make it from Deponia (trash dominated planet) to Elysium (ascended pristine city). F.E.A.R was intriguing, tense and actually fun to play which, in my experience, is rare for a horror game. I’ve surprised myself by adding a first person shooter to my favourites list. For a 14 year old game, the visuals and lighting were outstanding, providing a suburb eerie atmosphere throughout. Constantly engaging with smooth transitions between action and horror scenes. This post features games released at any point in time and not just 2019 releases, but there are a few new entries dotted throughout this list. I’m pretty happy with the gaming progress I’ve made this year and I’m pleased with how this list turned out – I even surprised myself with a few of these entries. With 2019 coming to an end, it’s only right to make a list of the 11 games that I’ve enjoyed playing the most over the past 12 months.
